And it's a Mica IR delivered to the AdA.

The document above reveales several facts about the Mica :

1. the datalink allow to shoot it on a target located behing the Rafale ;
2. its IR sensor is so accurate that it can be used as a MLD, and is integrated to the Spectra suit ;
3. Mica has a built-in multitarget capability allowing the pilot to engage multiple opponents even at close range.

Point 1 was already known, but 2 and 3 are totally know (even if we knew for the 2 that Mica IR was used as an IRST). To me, point 3 is quite revealing about the capabilities of the imaging sensor.

Is it known whether the EM version is still in production or are only IR delivered these days?
Is it known whether the EM version received any upgrades wrt its seeker/electronics since it was first introduced?

Quick answer : there was something about a Mica NT some years ago.
