Rafale F1 are being retrofitted to F3 standard (source : http://www.meretmarine.com/article.cfm?id=119261).
All Rafale F1 will be retrofitt on Bordeaux-Mérignac Dassault plant, where they will be intégrated to F3 production line. First two 2 aircraft (M10 and M9) will be delivered on 2014, then 3 Rafale F3 on 2015 and 4 on 2016. Rafale F1 M1 will be the last one to be retrofitted and will be delivered on 2017.
On 2017 French navy will have 45 Rafale F3 (3 carrier air wing including 15 Rafale F3 each one). French Nuclear powered carrier Charles-de-Gaulle will embark on 2017 2 carrier air wing consisting of up to around 30 Rafale F3 aircraft plus 5 helicopters EC725 and AS532 for RESCO).
