Wasn't it planned for August or september ?

Lula was in Paris not long ago, then Mr Singh, Indian PM, during the 14th july parade.
Could there be some connection between the Indian and Brazilian competition ?
I mean there will be a close partnership between Dassault/Thales/Sagem and the Brazilian and/or Indian companies if they take the Rafale. A partnership so deep that the one who take the Rafale would vastly improve its ability to build a world top fighter in the future. Could Brazil or India ask this partnership to be excusive ?
Of course I wish the Rafale win both competition 8-)

According to our MoD Hervé Morin, France is in very advanced negociations with several countries, but except for Brazil, the decisions won't come before the end of the year. :x

Recently, both Charles Edelstenne and Serge Dassault publicly complained about the fact that the Rafale is sold in Euros instead of Dollars, which increase its price by 40 percent, a huge drawback.

But Rafales produced in France are paid for in Euros, how could they change that? Offering the aircraft for the same figure in dollars (i.e. 55 mln USD instead of Euro) and pay less to their employees to compensate for?

I really don't know. Maybe they think about relocation... But I don't know how it would be possible.
