I havent really looked into this to be honnest but in view of the amount of g they can pull it's an important one...

Just looked over my opening post and one question comes into mind. Does the Rafale still feature a separate TACAN? As MIDS provides the TACAN function it might be possible that the separate TACAN has been removed from F2 onwards, can somebody confirm this?

If it is installed in that location it's pretty much likely. Just recently had the opportunity to talk to EC 1/7 guys, but didn't thought about that at that time .
