Ahh yes, I was saying this months ago but the usual lot (you know who you are!) were saying how these exercises prove Rafale to be better than Typhoon, despite the Typhoon being regarded as having a far better combat systems IRST, Radar ect. The one thing the French mentioned above kept clinging on to was that the exercises proved something, well folks, they mean nothing as admitted by the AdA themselves.
On a side note, everyone who knows even a bit about military aviation knows exercises are worthless for comparing two aircraft like this, yet some French members still did it, which raises questions about much they really know!
So, will this signal a return for the French to the good old Mirage 2000 tactic of "oh well our ECM system means our aircraft is definately better", or maybe we will see the return of the active stealth system claims?
