Never heard about this at all. And in fact, I find it quite surprising.
Usually, we believe that Greece prefers the Eurofighter, in addition, today, I would not bet that Greece thinks about spending money for fighters. Do you have details to share ?
The Eurofighter and the Rafale are very well respected among the greek pilots, even though many regard Rafale as a more mature and multirole. But we must not forget that most of the military acquisitions are decided according to political criteria. Greece has strong ties with France. Even though the financial situation in Greece is not the best at the moment, the military acquisitions are imperative for Greece due to the military pressure from Turkey. A lot of military programs for the Hellenic armed forces have been cancelled so that money can be saved for the fighter aircrafts. The Eurofighter has lost a lot of its advantages in Greece due to the stance of Germany in the financial crisis and the debacle with the german submarines that have been ordered 10 years ago and until now none of them has been delivered. There were no official announcements from the goverment until now.
Well it's true that Merkel's behaviour may have made Germany to shoot itself in the foot. But I don't see how France can take back both the UAE and the greek Mirages at the same time, and I don't know what customer could pick up such a number of aircrafts.

Greek minister says no decision on military purchases soon AP , june 2
ATHENS, Greece (AP) - Greece will hold off any purchases of warships or fighter planes, a top defense official says, as the EU's top military spender struggles to pull itself out of a financial crisis that pushed it close to bankruptcy. [...] Greece had also said — well before its debt crisis erupted — that it was interested in purchasing 40 fighter planes, a contract several countries have expressed interest in. Germany would like Greece to buy Eurofighter planes — made by a consortium of German, Italian, Spanish and British companies — while France is eager to sell its Rafale fighter aircraft, produced by Dassault. The United States is also interested.
"There are the Rafale, there are the Eurofighters, there are the American F16, F18, F35. We haven't entered into any negotiation with the production countries, much less into any internal government discussion on the issue," Beglitis said. "The issue is exceptionally premature for us." [...]
