Finally, Gaddafi got Rafales...

According to French TV, Rafale are flying over Libya right now.

I'm waiting for confirmation and updates.

AFP : they are doing some recon. I guess Rafale are carrying the Reco NG.
BFMTV : they will shoot if libyan troops move.

11h10 : 2 Rafale follow, one carrying a Reco NG pod.

6 tanker flights.

Tomorrow, the Charles de Gaulle will leave with the 12 F (Rafale), 14F (Super Etendard Modernisé) and some E-2.

It is now 17h50 in France, we have received no report of any engagement.

According the Le Monde, at 17h45, the MoD revealed that our fighters have opened fire on a military libyan vehicule.

I didn't see the information with my own eyes, but several people have seen or heard that our MoD claimed to have used 14 Scalp-EG cruise missiles.

French attacked between 5 and 7 hours in the morning and destroyed about 40 military libyan vehicules and 4 to 5 tanks at 40km away from Benghazi.

Operations are going on.

The Charles de Gaulle just left Toulon and should reach the libyan coast tomorrow afternoon.
