Hi I am Taranis Attack
Due to popular demand I present to you an introduction/about me! I am from southern England, I cannot speak/write/read French, though conveniently this is mostly an English forum. Some of you may know me from other forums, and I have noticed a few names that I recognise (TMOR, Wingman, Roland, Kovy, and I'm presuming Tabigay is around here somewhere too). My purpose here is really to give the voice of opposition, though I am aware that expressing a view other than the sheer awesomeness of the Rafale is likely to be very unpopular and be met with mass insults, anger and ultimately denial. I am not however ignorant of the Rafale, I recognise its capabilities, where it is superior to Typhoon and will give credit to it provided the hate coming my way isn't excessive. I'm not "anti-French" or "anti-D'Assault", I think the Neuron will be a fine UCAV technology just like the UK's UCAV technology demonstrator BAE Taranis. My main interests are UAVs and UCAVs, though I have been on military forums since I was perhaps 16 or so and have had an interest in defence since I was a kid, so I have quite a broad range of knowledge of defence including naval and air systems as well as some knowledge of munitions and ground systems. I am studying Electrical Engineering at university and I am making a UAV demonstrator as part of my final year project, its a big job but I really enjoy doing it. I also have a good understanding of computer science and have also studied IT though I don't particularly like IT.

Hi Taranis, welcome !

That's quite interesting. I created this forum so as to inform about the Rafale... I really hope it will never look like the fanboys' nest. However, if you think it's already this nest, then some opposition is welcome !

Ultimate denial ? Maybe.
But moderators and I will do our best to prevent anybody from insulting.

Hi TaranisAttack,
Are you really "PPP", the guy who wrote this on the WAFF ?

Polluted with facts showing Rafale is inferior? I didn't realise this thread was an extension of the Rafale fan boys nest, intended for positive information only

Are you really the one who call French "surrenders monkeys" ?
Don't bother to explain why if it's too difficult, just say "yes", or "no".
I suspect you are referring to a post where I stated that if anyone wants a source from him they should send a letter to Sampaix Road (a.k.a surrender monkey street), Paris. In which case I was referring to the member "Sampaix" a.k.a "Wingman", I made no reference to the French.
