Hi all, I wonder..... Let's say if a country which had been using american fighters (example: F-16), and for the next gen fighter they buy Rafales, could US AAMs like Sidewinder or AMRAAM be integrated with rafale? In short, can Rafale fire AIM-120 AMRAAM or AIM-9 Sidewinder?
oh great.... then again it's back about political factor. A friend of mine told me that it's unlikely US will sell AAMs to country which bought non-US fighter..... But I think that the Rafale's compatibility still a selling point, even if that country has to buy French-made AAMs at last...
